Same great quality as Volume II. This cookbook is geared more toward specific holidays/special occasions and an entire meal is presented for each occasion. I expected it to be more like "A Taste of Elegance", so was a little disappointed. It's still an excellent cookbook that will be used to create many wonderful dishes from Chef Rudi Sodamin. Anyone that has cruised with HAL and loves to cook will appreciate this compilation of delicious recipes. Looking forward to Volume IV(Appetizers) being released in June 2012.
We've been on multiple cruises with Holland American. Their food is great. I was so looking forward to recipes in order to make some at home.
Outstanding recipes. Gave as a gift after being on a cruise with Holland America Lines. Superb dining.
Beautiful photos with each recipe. Tested recipes aren't too complicated. Enjoyable cookbook just to read and browse through for inspiration.
As a Holland America cruiser, this book taked me back again to my many cruises. Memories not forgotten, dreams relived.

I was on this cruise line for vacation and wanted to purchase the cookbook. As I didn't want to carry it home, I asked if I could purchase it at their web site or order it on the ship and have it sent. I was told that neither of those were an option. I had to buy the books there or go without. A friend suggested Amazon. So at home I tried Amazon and found the book for less money than they were selling it. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Amazon!
