This book is the result of years and years of research....if going places that Christians don’t normally go. Carl has given us all a complete look inside of the new age movement....from its birth to where it has taken our civilization. This book is a MUST read for ALL believers....especially pastors and teachers...so we can know how to best reach this particular mission field for Jesus Christ. It’s a lot to take in but Carl draws you in masterfully. Don’t just get 1 book! Get your pastor and church leadership a copy!! Probably THE most important book on this topic of our time!!
As a former new-ager, I can testify to the accuracy of this book. I love the way things are documented; people, places, events; the author actually goes to the events described, which I highly respect as an author and researcher. Anyone who wants to understand the New Age mindset should read this definitive and thorough analysis.
I just started reading this book, "Game of the gods" . It has totally captured my attention! It is very thorough in its writings. I am a student of Bible scripture and Biblical Prophecy and I am finding that this book is going to be a part of my small list of "go to's " for reference, understanding and research. Thanks Carl for giving of your time, prayer and research to this book that the public may learn from its contents.
Extensively researched, complete with footnotes (literally thousands of them). This book is the product of decades of research done by the author. I cannot imagine any of his subsequent books will measure up to this one. If you perceive the shift the world has taken, this book will fill you in. I often suspected that man's ultimate move away from couldn't be toward raw atheism, but rather, some counterfeit. Humanity has found their answer in the various mysticisms that put man first. Men must worship. It is ingrained. If they refuse the one true God, then they will worship themselves, through the conduit of the occult or the various mysticisms saturating modern society's spiritual worldviews. As Carl says in the book, it is the age of re-enchantment. The worship of man through the enchantment of mysticism. All the supposed benefits of religion, none of the consequences. The great falling away will not be a turn toward atheism, but rather, toward retrofitted Paganism. The old lie of Eve's serpent, "Ye shall be as God..."Read the book for more.
