Mary Jane Haemig is professor of church history and director of the Reformation Research Program at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Such a wonderful introduction into Lutheran Christianity. Very easy to read and understand. A real pleasure to look at all the pictures and notes and explanations. I have enjoyed it immensely.
Beautiful book. I purchased one for myself and one for each of my three sons.
As a child, my mother will instruct in the ways as she had learnt from her Lutheran faith. This book gives me a better scriptural understanding on certain things that I wasn’t as sure about. Even though I identify as an Anglican/ Episcopalian in my adulthood, I know Martin Luther influence on the world will always be enduring.
Really well written in accurate but readable and approachable form.
Great book, easy to read and understand! Helped me to review my Luther's Small Catechism.
Sorry, Amazon, got my copy at church for weekly Bible Study group. My only regret is that the type is quite small for us older people. I prefer to read on my computer so I can enlarge the type.
