The authors of this book say it's time to rethink the fundamental structure of transit policy. The book focuses on street-based transit - buses, shuttles, and jitneys. The authors propose that urban transit be brought into the fold of market activity by establishing property rights not only in vehicles, but also in curb zones and transit stops. Market competition and entrepreneurship would depend on a foundation of what they call "curb rights". By creating exclusive and transferable curb rights (to bus stops and other pickup points) leased by auction, the authors contend that American cities can have the best of both kinds of markets - scheduled (and unsubsidized) bus service and unscheduled but faster and more flexible jitneys. They maintain that a carefully planned transit system based on property rights would rid the transit market of inefficient government production and overregulation. It would also avoid the problems of a lawless market - cutthroat competition, schedule jockeying, and even curbside conflict among rival operators. Entrepreneurs would be free, able, and driven to introduce ever better service, revise schedules and route structures, establish connections among transit providers, facilitate passenger interchange, introduce new vehicles, and use new pricing strategies. The authors suggest a hybrid system of urban mass-transit consisting of both privately-owned, flexibly-scheduled & routed and public-owned, fixed scheduled & routed bus systems. In order to prevent the flexibly-scheduled system from parasitically skimming passengers from the fixed route system, the authors suggest the promotion of "curb rights" to separate the operations.This would allow the predictably high-volume routes to be served by the high-volume, large bus & cost overhead municipal operation while allowing the service increases possible through the addition of smaller and possibly innovative operators.Makes sense to me. While clearly advocating their position, the authors recognize and address the ligitimancy of the municipalities' concerns over service preservation. With sensible implentation, I'm sure it would work to improve urban transit which (it seems to me) currently consists of balancing the interest of car-driving taxpayers to limit transit subsidies and the interests of Municipal Transit Agency employee unions to maximize employee wages and benefits, with the transit customer well down on the list of concerns.

There would be no need to take a "survey on how customers felt before and after deregulation." The "survey" would be expressed by customers voluntarily using the service, i.e. whether they were willing to purchase rides on deregulated transit vehicles. If customers were satisfied, the transit company would prosper. If not, they would go out of business and another company could enter the market and provide satisfactory service. That is the only survey that counts! If that's too much Econ 101 speculation, then you just don't get it!

I wouldn't spend any money on this book. The theory espoused in this book is so far from reality, it isn't funny.This book promotes the notion that "free enterprise" must be inserted into public transit so as to maximize the benefits to passengers and society at large.However, this notion is demonstrably wrong.For example, local bus operations in British cities outside of London were completely de-regulated in the 1980's by the national Tory government, e.g., public funding was almost entirely cut off and private bus companies were allowed to compete freely against one another (as opposed to "privatization" in the U.S. which has mainly meant a public agency putting service out to competitive bid). Regional pass schemes allowing passengers to freely transfer from one route or operator to another were abolished.The results are conclusive. Bus patronage in British cities dropped more than 30% by the early 1990's. In London, bus patronage over the same period actually increased somewhat, despite major cuts in subsidy funding. The difference was that London retained regional governmental control of fare and service decisions, despite putting much of the service out to bid.The disaster of British local bus de-regulation has also been repeated in spades by the ill-considered "privatization" of British Rail. Rail privatization has been a big enough disaster to become one of the hottest public issues in Great Britain.The successes obtained by "centralized" regional planning and decision-making authority in elected government hands is quite conclusive in other countries. In Zurich, per capita transit usage is among the highest in the developed world, exceeding a number of Japanese cities. Zurich's success--in one of the most affluent, high auto-owning urban areas on the planet--is based on centralized planning at the canton level, plus generous government funding. Zurich has managed to retain very high transit market share despite rapid motorization since the 1960's. The reasons that Toronto, Canada's past success with generating high transit usage levels, are essentially the same as Zurich, though the current pseudo-free market provincial government in Ontario is too boorish to understand this."Free market" economists like Klein often cite the "success" of private transit in Southeast Asia; however, those "capitalist" bastions of Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia have relied on centralized planning and sufficient funding to allow new transit systems to function through selective privatization, but not anywhere near the model that Klein espouses. In effect, government transportation policies in Hong Kong and Singapore guarantee the transit market (e.g., car use is restricted, heavily taxed). The Zurich and Toronto models have proven to be less authoritarian.Klein proves how blinkered economists--particularly those who espouse "libertarian" views ("new right" in British and Australian terms)--are very shortsighted about public transit and other similar public policy issues.For one of the few books that I've seen that "gets it right," I recommend "A Very Public Solution" by Paul Mees, a professor of Planning and Public Policy at Melbourne University, Melboune, Australia (yes, Amazon carries it).Mee's point about urban transit is best summed up by this from one of my unpublished papers:Flexibility would be the greatest benefit of improved transit to "transit dependents" and would-be "choice" users. This is clearly explained by the book "A Very Public Solution" (Page 289; Dr. Paul Mees, Melbourne University Press, 2000. Melbourne, Australia):(Mees' excerpt):With public transport itself, the critical issue is flexibility. And the key to flexibility for passengers is simplicity and predictability, not a bewildering array of constantly changing options. The latter produces confusion, not convenience. Paradoxically, to be flexible, public transport must also be rigidly predictable: perhaps the best analogy is with the road system, rather than with cars themselves...This means that frequent service on an easy-to-understand, predictable, and reliable network of regional and local transit services delivers vastly superior flexibility to the customer. Such transit systems typically service a far higher percentage of "choice" patronage. Compared to an infrequent, specialized, hard to understand jumble of routes, such transit networks compete successfully with automobiles.A Very Public Solution's prime case study is Toronto, Canada. Toronto has significantly higher per transit usage per capita than many European cities, an order of magnitude higher than most U.S. urban areas. Toronto's exceptionally high transit use occurs despite millions of residents living in dispersed suburbs essentially indistinguishable from the American norm. Canadian fuel prices are only slightly higher than the United States. There are more similarities than differences between Canadian and U.S. culture. Toronto's transit usage remain high, despite service cuts caused by an early 1990's recession.

This is an amazing book. The first section of the book - when Lauren and Ryan decide to separate - shows an excruciating view of how the things we found delightful and loveable at the beginning of a relationship can morph into making us feel irritated and even infuriated. It is true that little things can break a couple up. It's a sad/funny incident involving a disagreement over where they parked the car while attending a Lakers game that finally makes the couple face that they want to be apart.They decide to take a year apart, with no contact with one another.There are so many layers to the relationship that are peeled off and revealed by the author. To the bitter decision to separate, they both say they feel they still love one another but they just can't live with one another.I've been married for a long time now (more than 25 years) but I was divorced earlier in my life. I understand what it takes to keep a marriage together and how one comes apart. The author really hits the nail on the head. When she wrote about them coming apart, I kept saying to my self as I read, " YES...that is exactly how it can happen."During their year separation Ryan and Lauren both come to realize that life did not turn out the way they wanted partly because they did not tell the other person what they wanted and partly because they never thought about "marriage" being different from "courting." An example of this is that Lauren hated going to Lakers games and Ryan got tickets often. Instead of speaking up and even suggesting that she only go to an occasional game, she went but harbored some resentment. It never occurred to Ryan (nor did he ask) whether she liked going to the games or not.In the course of the novel, Lauren's family members also experience some relationship changes and you'll find some surprises.If you feel the ending is a bit too neat and "rose colored glasses." I can't really disagree with you. But this is a story that is very well written and filled with hope. It will make you laugh and make you cry and warm your heart. It would make a great movie.If you haven't read the author's other book (FOREVER, INTERRUPTED) don't miss it. Taylor Jenkins Reid is an author who I will follow. Hope she is working on another novel!

I sat on this book for months. I purchased it right when it came out, but I just couldn't bring myself to read it. You see, I went through a divorce this year and I just wasn't sure I couldn't handle bringing up the hurt again. Things are better now. I am better. So, about a month ago I pulled the book out. When I tell you that I devoured this book, I mean I literally couldn't put it down and read it within a few hours. It's rare for me to find reads like this anymore. Don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic books out there, but this one just hit me on such a personal level. Plus, the writing was amazing. I felt like I was talking to a girlfriend throughout the whole book.I really don't want to recap the story, but I will tell you that what Lauren and Ryan go through was so very real. It's so easy to become disconnected and complacent in a marriage. To me, that's what happened to Ryan and Lauren. They became so wrapped up their every day lives that they truly forgot about honoring each other and their marriage. It was sad to read about how things began to crumble, but again, so real. They didn't have problems that happened over night. It was a series of miscommunication, lack of interest in each other, and they simply forgot all the reasons they fell in love in the first place. I think when life sets in and the rose colored glasses come off, it's hard to keep a marriage, or any relationship alive. You have to deal with the pesty little things like hygiene habits, laziness, snoring, farting, and other unpleasantries. The little things continued to build for Lauren and then it become a bigger issue.Even though it was hard to read at times, seeing this couple go through something so challenging was really rewarding for me in the end. I won't tell you if they make it or not as a couple, but I will tell you that they learned so much about themselves throughout their separation. Another thing that hit me hard while reading this one is, that the couples who can make it through hard times, may not always be "in love". Sure, they love each other, but I think in long term relationships/marriages, there are times that you aren't necessarily in love with your partner. It's finding ways to fall in love again that helps to make it last.Overall, I can say without a doubt that this is one of my best books of the year. Yes, it reached me personally, but I also felt that there were some really great messages throughout the book for everyone. It truly has something for every reader; self discovery, heart ache, falling in love, and family complexities. Seriously...read this book!

So it took me a little longer to read this book. I started it and then had to walk away from it. It made me angry and sad. Quite frankly, I didn't really care for either Ryan or Lauren and the way that they were treating one another and their marriage. It affected me and was upsetting. While the content was upsetting, the story telling was excellent. The fact that this author was able to pull those emotions from me, says a lot about her ability to engage me as a reader, and to draw us on. It was for my own piece of mind that I walked away from this book for a few days, but I still found myself thinking about it and wondering what was going on.I'm glad that I stuck with it. It was a process of self discovery more than anything. While I don't personally agree with the decision that they made, and how they went about it. I did like the lessons that were learned. The growth and perspective that Lauren and Ryan came to, but I guess I didn't like that they felt they couldn't come to the conclusion together. There was a lot in this book, that I would never do, don't agree with, ideas of marriage that don't work for me, and blah, blah, blah....., but this author got to me, she made me think and she made me feel. Not necessarily all warm and fuzzy feelings, but she did make me feel things. I do feel that that is a powerful thing. I'm glad that I stuck with this book. I did enjoy the letter from Allie. I thought it was an appropriate way to end the book.

I was so pleased to stumble onto this excellent book so badly needed by a collector base driven more by want than knowledge. The desire to "have" and "have pronto" has resulted in over two decades of feeding impulse with forgeries. I have known of Mr Keurajian and his expertise since the early 90's when I was in the then raging sports collectibles business. My conversations with him and his astounding knowledge were always fascinating. He was and I am sure remains a True enthusiast of understanding signatures and their authenticity. He spotted the the fakes quickly, was never overbearing, was very certain in his evaluation and was always willing to learn. In the days I knew him I never knew of him to sell his knowledge but was very willing to share. He is a fine man and "true autograph collector". As for the book, it speaks for itself. Compare it with anything else. No comparison. If Ron says one doesn't exist or he never saw one or one that is supposed to exist but doesn't----believe him. If you own sigs that he says don't exist , or are rare beyond belief, then you have been had. I've not seen this man for over a decade but can see from this fine work and the issues he has been involved in that he is one of the absolute best evaluators ofrare sport autographs. Great job Ron.

The GOOD: The book is informative about the prevalence of forgeries, the types of forgeries one might expect to run across (in a general sense), and gives reasonably good guidance about the value of the autographs of HOF players. Keurajian also alerts the reader to some specific, prolific, and skilled forgers whose 'work' bears particular earmarks. Perhaps, best of all, he lets the reader know that the world of autographs is not quite like, but closer than most think, to the "wild, wild west". Despite the growth of 3rd party authenticators the HOF autograph collector must be (and will probably always need to be) self-reliant to a significant degree when it comes to spotting forgeries, secretarial sigs, or autopen.The NOT SO GOOD: The book uses too many "terms of art". Genuine signatures are described as "bouncy" and forged signatures are deemed "labored" without even very good examples being given (much less a reasonably rigorous definition). The author is, as I understand it, a lawyer. "Terms of art" are a practice commonly used in the law, but rarely acknowledged publicly as being rather imprecise (e.g. what counts as "malice" for the purposes of determining specific mens rea (state of mind) in a murder trial?...there have been different takes on that, and I wrote a paper about that once in grad school (having "a wanton and malignant heart", Commonwealth v. Malone 47 A.2d 445 (1946) is one take on it...what the hell is a wanton heart? I'll just quote Mr. Justice Stewart," I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description ... But I know it when I see it," Jacobellis v. Ohio, 378 U.S. 184 (1964) ).I admit it is vague nearly (but not quite) of necessity, so while the author may not be to blame for not being more precise, it is nonetheless a shortcoming of the book that characteristics of forged and genuine signatures are not exceptionally well defined. Perhaps the author should have spent a bit more time focusing on some definitive methods for identifying forgeries (e.g. the ballpoint pen wasn't really introduced to the US market until about 1948 and when it was first sold the cost was about $100+ dollars (adjusted for inflation), so that ballpoint pen Walter Johnson is almost certainly a forgery since 1945 it is the terminus pro quem of a Johnson auto. Some discussion about the flow and appearance of the ink of steel-tip fountain pens (or quill pens for some pre-'10s autos) would also have been helpful.The author unfortunately FAILS to address provenance as a tool which can be used to eliminate signatures as being genuine. Forgers have to do their homework. A Detroit postmark on a postcard written by Ty Cobb, while Cobb was in Philadelphia or St. Louis (Browns) playing during an away game series is very suspect. One benefit to baseball is that it is played so frequently (incl. spring training) that, with use of the Baseball Almanac it is possible to keep up with the location of most players during their playing careers even all the way back to the 1910s (e.g. a piece of hotel stationary better match the city where that player was taking his ABs at the time). The internet is also a good source for tracking player locations in retirement (although in a much more course-grained way). Keurajian would have made the book better if he had focused on a broader range of ways to detect forgeries.

Like Keurajian's "Collecting Historical Autographs," this is a good reference work and valuable to own. It has its limitations, too. But the illustrations of examples of signatures are valuable, especially of those who are not routinely available.

If you collect HOF baseball autographs you have to get this book. I wish it could easily be updated as time goes by and new members come in to the Hall but considering the amount of fraud in collecting, this book is a necessary aid. Fun facts too.

A valuable guide for any serious collector of baseball Hall of Fame autographs. The book is very comprehensive, yet easy to read. The signature studies and practical advice makes it well worth the price. Due to the high amount of forgeries in the autograph market, this book should be a required reference in any collector's library. Whether one is a new or long-term collector, I highly recommend this book.

It was a gift and my husband loved it. Terrific reference guide and just wonderful to look through too.

I bought this book 3 years 8 months and 5 days ago. it was about a month after my grandmother had passed away from a year long battle with stomach cancer. As I read it I could feel each page getting heavier and heavier . I didn't want to go on because i just had a feeling of where this book was going and i didn't want to go to that place. But the book drew me on with its amazing art and well told story. How each chapter slowly showed you the whole tapestry of Bras's life piece by piece was truly an amazing sight to behold and experience. Then i reached the end, and it broke me. I have never cried so hard over a graphic novel. It's just pictures and words right? this is the stuff hollywood calls storyboards, it shouldn't bring out this much emotion. but it did.I never read it again, until yesterday. I thought it wouldn't get to me as much as the first time i read it. Nope, it struck just as hard. This is one of those books that depending on where you are in life will affect you differently.So in my opinion if you want a graphic novel with fantastic art and an amazing story that will tug at your heartstrings and make you take stock of your life. Then read this. If you made it this far thanks for reading my first in depth review. Have a good one

The last few pages left me speechless. It is not often that a book can sum up so many unspoken things, and I guess that is, ultimately, the point; that we can't tie up all our loose ends, but this fact will never stop us from trying, and striving to find that meaning (whatever it is). This is why I love the art form of a graphic novel, because sometimes words are not enough, and sometimes an image does not encompass it all, but only by the combination do we come closer to a truth. This was artfully done, though at times draws to much attention to the author. It trusts the audience to come to it's own conclusions. It is smart and biting. I loved every page.

Daytripper is a soap opera turned into the comic book format. The story stars Bras de Oliva Domigos, a Brazillian obituary writer and aspiring novelist. The story checks in with Bras at various points in his life, tracking his relationship with friends, family, and his career.The twist on the story is that at the end of every issue, Bras dies. Then the next issue he's back. The whole book is a reflection on what life really means, and what's important in it, so these 'deaths' serve as a good way to reinforce how it could all end any second. However, I have to admit, some of the deaths come off as forced, and take away from the quality of the book. Still, this was an enjoyable read.

This is a wonderful written meditation on family, work, love and legacy. Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba have accomplished what so few have - they've made a masterpiece. I found no flaws in the any of the 247 pages.Bras is the central character. He is the son of a world-famous writer. Each chapter of this story takes places at a different time in his life - early working career, college, first love, childhood weekends on the family farm, the day his son his born, etc... They are all handled deftly and accurately - so much so that many readers can universally identify.

Daytripper takes a close look at death and confronts several versions of the inevitable. You'll often find yourself feeling happy for the lives that were lead and heartbroken for the ones that were taken too soon. I had to take a break on a couple of the stories because of how parallel some of the stories were with personal experiences. Don't let that keep you from picking this up. Daytripper will easily become one of your favorites.

If you don't read things because they are graphic novels or comics because they are "for kids" then you are missing out. I've read two in the past year which easily stand up to some of the greatest non-graphic novels of all time. The first was Logicomix by Apostolos Doxiadis and Christos Papadimitriou and now there is Daytripper by Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon.Daytripper is the story about one man's life living in the shadow of his father (a world famous author). He struggles to free himself from the shadow of his father, make a name for himself, experience love and loss, all while dying on each of the most important days of his life. His death always revealing something about how we evaluate our own lives, success and failures. It makes us examine our own situation to rethink our values and what we consider to be important or hinge our happiness on. By the end I was in tears (in a good way).

There are so many great things about Daytripper. The colors, textures, artistry, stories and the writing style are all wonderful and very....different. Nothing is within the realm of normal in regards to this work of art. It's the type of read that will give you that elusive eerie feeling. And perhaps a shiver or two down your spine.I enjoyed that the pages of the book felt more like a newspaper than a glossy photograph like some graphic novels. I think it added to the experience as a whole. Made it feel more real in some way. I know, a weird thing to take into consideration but it made a difference to me.I had a really hard time putting this down and didn't want it to end. But when it was over I felt very satisfied with the path it had taken me and the way it delivered me to that ending....or beginning. I look forward to more material from these two very talented people in the future.

I love Twilight series and have read this book several times. I love it a little more each time I read it. There's very little adult content, aside from some violence, but no sex scenes which is nice since this is a YA book. I've also read the Southern Vampire Mysteries, which I loved, but they are very much an adult series. I recommend this for anyone who loves romance and vampire stories without all the graphic violence.

This is my 3rd or 4th time reading this series over the last couple of years. Some people might consider this extreme.I consider it an outstanding privileges to be so entertained each and every time. I usually don't indulge in readinganything more than once but, this series is an exception to any rule. The characters never seem to bore me but,just the opposite, I discover new things about them I might have missed during the previous visits through thepages that somehow keep me coming back. I do and have recommended this series to anyone looking for an adventure among the mystical and mythicalmonsters, heroes and villains these books so vividly have to offer. I can't be sure I'd read them a fifth time but, then again, I wouldn't bet a penny I wouldn't.Thanks again for the great story telling!

Stephenie Meyers wrote the series to be about the obsession of first love and targeted primarily at mid teen girls and the first two books of the series are weaker for it in my opinion. Bella is a blank slate character who doesn't begin to really fill out personality-wise really until this third book. In many ways she comes off as cold and callous in the first book because her mind is really only focused upon Edwards flawless face. It is not until the end of the book where she she is shown to be selfless in trying to protect her family. The same could be said in the second book except it remains to be all about Edward and a bit of Jacob where nothing else really matters and everyone else is secondary. It is in this third chapter of the series that we see her world expand more and we are given a bit more interaction with others not named Edward or Jacob. She shown to have fear a concern not just in passing but consistently for those around her. This I feel adds more deapth actually to the relationship between her and Edward. It is in this where we see the Love Story go beyond someone's flawless perfection or unreadable mind. We get to see the person instead of the blank slate. it is worth noting that when this book came out the series was really taking off and becoming a national craze. not only had the character of Bella growing older but so had the original readers. I think that is why the story is a bit more mature if still appropriate for the original core audience as it will remain throughout series for the most part. It may sound weird but it's very much like the shift that occurred in the Harry Potter series where it went from being aimed at a younger audience to growing up and becoming more mature as the audience and characters group. The promise of action and danger along with a mystery makes a story more compelling so that the romance is not the sole thing holding the story up. The love triangle that was commercialized to an extreme is shown not to be as in depth or prevalent in the story itself. it's there and there is angst but there's never really anything to it. If Edward and Bella is about the obsession of first love in Jacob and Bella is about the line between loving a friend too much to let go.For those on the fence of reading the book series I would say to do so simply to know what you're talkin about if it ever comes up in conversation. In truth it is not a bad story but it is one directed toward a certain audience and readers outside of the audience have to accept that.In the end I do think it comes down to the readers taste of what kind of character they want. Authors can either make the main character have a personality that is impactful and memorable or have one that is easier to slip into because there's nothing there but an outline for the reader to fill out themselves. I believe that those who dislike the series do so because they did not want a blank slate character but one that reached out to grab the reader's attention and pulled them along the story. perhaps this is why I enjoy the last two books more than the first two because the author has filled out the outline more so that Bella feels more like a complete character.This book contains no strong language or Gore. It is a fairly clean story with the romantics limited to kissing passionately.

Girl gets boy back, then defies him to hold hands and snuggle up with a “friend” who wants to break them up.As this series progresses, I like each book a little less than the one before. Only the amusing narration, bickering, and jibes; Alice’s child-like glee; and the more serious and intriguing developments with Victoria and the Volturi kept me reading.I thought Bella had made her choice in “New Moon.” I didn’t expect to see her conflicted in “Eclipse.” She got her prince, her angel, back, and now she’s having second thoughts about the wolf? Throughout the book, Bella’s feelings for Jacob are presented as friendship. She enjoys his company and her time among the Quileutes. . Then suddenly, we are told in Chapter 26 that she is actually in love with Jacob and tempted by the life he offers her. This revelation might have been more believable if we had indications that Bella saw qualities in Jacob that Edward lacked, or that a mortal life was starting to appeal to her.My sympathy toward Bella disappeared with each choice she made to run off to Jacob and allow physical intimacies more appropriate for sweethearts than best friends. It doesn’t matter that this was how things were between them “before,” Edward had come back and the relationship was restored. It wasn’t helping Jacob let go of his romantic attachment. It just encouraged him to keep thinking that if he waited long enough, Bella would choose him. As it was, I found his cockiness off-putting and absolutely despised him for forcing himself on Bella in a sickening scene. Charlie earned a special place in “character Hell” for his approval of Jacob’s actions. Edward alone redeemed himself from the unsavory turn his character had taken by giving up trying to dictate terms to Bella and instead considering her happiness.In spite of disliking how the characters behaved in this book, I still found parts I enjoyed. Humor was sprinkled throughout, which helped tremendously with finishing the story, and the plotline with Victoria and the newborn army was riveting.By the way, does anyone else ever read about Edward’s icy body temperature and think “There are some parts of a man I really don’t want to be freezing cold”?

Daniel E. Hall has practiced law in both the United States and Federated States of Micronesia. For nine years, Professor Hall was a member of the faculty in the department of criminal justice and legal studies at the University of Central Florida. He also served as chair of the department of criminal justice at The University of Toledo. This what we used for a Paralegal course in Criminal Law that combined the curriculum for 2 semesters into 1. That taken into account, this text had really good examples of the concepts we needed to articulate in how criminal law is different than civil law or equity law that most paralegal courses cover extensively. If it had any flaws, it was that it was VERY in-depth and thorough. Not for the faint of heart. Only read for a class or if you are serious about truly learning Criminal Law 101 and 102.

There are a few spelling and grammatical errors here and there, but it's easy to find the information you need quickly. Perfect for open book tests lol

I'm barely 50 pages in and there has been an abundance of spelling and grammatical errors. They either did not edit this book or they need to find someone new to do the editing. Some parts are hard to comprehend due to the horrible sentence structures.

Hall uses a linear way of defining both criminal law and procedure, respectively. A great beginning book for those new to the legal field or its learning institutions. Plenty of hypos, case histories and updates.

Good textbook. Put together well, binding is strong.

Was needed for a class. It was easy to understand and made the material interesting.

It is really good book. Also it is in a new condition.
