I loved reading Bucking Bronco, all about Tara Stokes fresh out of college, stuck in a bear trap on Mr. Colton Bronson’s property, because she mis-stepped and literally got tangled in the trap as she was hiking looking for the water-falls on the edge of his property. She was there to speak to him about selling his property to Synergy Coal, for pennies on the dollar. But she decided to take a short hike to get the nerve up first before knocking on his door! Instead she has been stuck in this bear trap for over five hours. And she was exhausted! The author wrote a story about a rancher, who is bigger than life and takes no prisoners! Colten keeps to himself and does not socialize and likes it that way! Read this book and see how Tara & Colten deal with each other! I loved reading this book about Sugar County, this is the first in the series, I already read book 2 and it was amazing as well. There are two more books and I can’t wait to read them as well! Take a shot, read about the hot men in Sugar County, Kentucky, you won’t be disappointed!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and I bought it. I just love books by Madison Faye. They are unapologetically sexy and steamy but there’s always a great story being told. This one is about a former rodeo rider who finds a trespasser on his land. At first he thinks she’s a horse thief until he checks out her clothing. City girl in a business suit. Hot. He won’t let her go until he finds out who she works for. Tara is there for her oil company trying to buy this cowboy’s land for pennies on the dollar or he’ll be swindled out of it by some dirty politicians. Not her first choice for a place to work but that’s another story. Colton and Tara have a tumultuous instant attraction and the book is very exciting! Pure Madison Faye!!
Explosive from the very beginning!! Tara sneaks on Colton’s property to offer him a “deal†to sell his land and promptly gets caught in an anti horse-thieving trap. When Colton comes to release her that’s when the real fireworks start. Colton just wants to be left alone to run his family’s horse ranch after retiring from the rodeo circuit. When he stumbles upon Tara he is gobsmacked by her beauty and knows she’s not a horse thief, she’s much worse- she wants his land. Unbeknownst to her she is “working†for a company that is only a front for more shady men. He kidnaps her and has his way with her and in the process he falls and falls hard for her. Will he be able to protect her and his land from the people that want to acquire them?
I am new to Madison Faye. This is the first book of hers that I have read. Colton is a retired rodeo star and Tara is working a crap job just trying to make ends meet. She winds up stuck on Coltons land and mixed up between him and an old feud with a neighbor. It’s well written and the characters are likable and interesting.My one personal issue, the steamy scenes were over the top raunchy, super descriptive and long. I like good steamy scenes in my romances but this was just a little too much for me. Towards the end I started skimming through those parts. Anyway, if you are familiar with Madison Faye’s writing style and like that sort of thing then it will be great for you, but if you like the lighter side of steamy in your romances than this book is not for you.It had a good storyline and was worth the price. Enjoy!
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy of Bucking Bronco. Loved this book. Bought this book. Right from the beginning, I was hooked. It stayed true to Fantasy Faye style of writing, which I really like and enjoy reading. ( add smirking grin here). I like the direction this series is headed, and look forward to the next books. If you like it hot and heavy and explicitly detailed, here you go. Love the tongue in cheek title. Enjoy!!!
I absolutely loved reading my arc copy of Bucking Bronco by Madison Faye.Once again i was left speechless by her amazing work. I couldnt get enough.The story was off the charts hot and full of excitement and action. Thecharacters were all phenomenally written with an amazing connectionbetween them. This is a definite must read that you wont want to missout on reading.
What's that new word? SMEXY? Yup, Definitely Smexy! Tara and Colton are so Hot, and intellegent, and Hot, and tough, and Hot, and made for each other. Did I mention that they're Hot? Insta-lust, good plot, sexy descriptions, a short and quick read. Not a deep read, and a few gramatical errors, but did I mention they were Hot? Whoa! Will definitely look into the next in the series! ;-D
Woooo this was another HAWT one by Madison Faye! She never seems to disappoint! I love her stories with the insta love. They are super sweet and of course Madison Faye keeps you reading with how she writes what is going on between the sheets as well! I also love how she writes her Heroes and Heroines.Bronco and Tara were so great together and they had me melting for how sweet they were. Bucking Bronco is a great first book to the series and I can't wait to read what comes next!
